There is something about the crispness in the air as Fall begins to appear that just entices me to throw on something plaid! The inevitable winter whispers----- beckons one to think of this quintessential Fall must-have. I have always been fond of the "Royal Stewart" plaid (see photo above) that most of us are familiar with. It's just so regal! But I have to admit, I'm also drawn to the typical red & black, block style, plaid that is typically reserved for the Lumberjack variety. Plaid offers the best of both worlds, it's cozy & sophisticated, but also a little edgy. It's royal history lends a certain distinction while it's reference to 90's grunge rock gives it a rebellious flare! So as the temperatures continue to drop, free your inner Tartan & let your clan cloth fly!
